Old revisions are not being overwritten

Hello, I am currently set up for daily incremental backups, with two macros: one for date, and one more max revisions [set for 15]. I just checked the backup location folder, and found that I have 3 months worth of cbu files (about 60). I can see from the file sizes, that the program is doing a full backup, then 14 revisions, then repeating, without overwriting the oldest file. Is there a setting that I missed or a misconfiguration on my part?
