After a full scan Comodo tells me gimp 2.6.7 exe is malware. It has been on my HD since 2009, and is not installed.
I did a virustotal check on it, detection ratio is 0 out of 54, remarkably INCLUDING COMODO.
This happens every now and then with old exe’s I keep around. I do not need the exe so I could remove it. I suspect it is a false postitive however. Interested in contrasting opinions.
In order to investigate this, we need you to provide the file that has been causing this issue. Please submit it here Comodo Antivirus Database | Submit Files for Malware Analysis using the false-positive option.
