OH DEAR! No Icon Animation! A Tiny Bug, This Time! ...

Hello…

Since I reinstalled my V3 of the firewall, the animation of the icon is completely non-functional.

A. The icon doesn’t animate after a restart.
B. The icon doesn’t animate after an uninstall/reinstall.
C. The icon doesn’t animate after ticking / unticking / reticking the Settings animation thingy.
D. The icon doesn’t animate after exiting V3 and then reloading it.

What is the icon animation written in, or dependent upon??

I only ask because I may have blocked Java / Javascript / ActiveX (etc., he said, only just knowing what he was talking about, here) and that may be preventing the animation from working.

Is there a Service that should be running before the icon will animate?

HEEE-E-E-E-E-E-ELP!

It’s only a small thing (my doctor’s offered surgery for that) but, I kinda want it to work (but, he said there’s no surgery in the world that could fix that), so help me figure out this one, please, guys!

I start getting suspicious when things appear to stop functioning as they should, or did, but at least I became almost accustomed to seeing the faulty animation arrows on the older version.

Before the trouble on this upstairs machine, by the way, the animation worked perfectly and, as I said, it works on the downstairs laptop, already.

Couldn’t somebody just tell me what’s going on with the animation? :frowning:

Ian.

BUMP

Mine doesn’t work either, but, I think Comodo has bigger problems to fix! Everything else is working fine!

TY Comodo
