I have severals PCs over the network running the same OS (Ubuntu) one of them can update the COMODO Anvtivirus, but, I want to know how the others PCs with no access to internet can update the antivirus with the bases of one of them
hi, take a usb-stick an copy bases.cav out of the updated pc. therefore go to filesystem and then opt/COMODO/Scanners.
put the stick in the till now not updated pc an open terminal:
sudo nautilus
open the same path as sudo and rename old bases.cav to bases-old.cav.
then drag and drop new bases.cav.
restart linux, run diagnostics in comodo and open terminal:
sudo /etc/init.d/cmdavd restart
it should be updated now.
