Offline Update

Hi,
I’m running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit. I need to manually update the virus database, can anyone instruct me on how to do this? I downloaded bases.can and replaced the one in the scanners file.That hasn’t worked. Placing it in database didn’t work either.

1. Open CIS.
2. Click on the question mark in the upper right corner.
3. Choose “About”.
4. Click on the “Import Virus Database” link and point it to the file you want to import.
