Just a thought.
According to an old post by Cisfan it is possible to install the desired modules (AV, FW, AV+FW, …) from an offline version.
I don’t know what the workload is to prepare a beta version in offline and make it available.
The availability of such a version would allow the most involved users to test the fixes/evolutions of CIS and to prepare the release of the next official version of CIS.
