NX Windows Client not connecting to server

Hello all, I just formatted my computer…and am now trying to use NX client to connect to my linux server…the connection is established and then the box disappears and pops up later saying the connection didn’t work, check your network connection…
the weird thing is, before the format, I had comodo firewall running and it worked…

the only thing I have done differently since the format is 1) install comodo AV 2) not using database of known programs from comodo to access the internet. Is there another program I need to enable to access the internet?

Thanks!

Client version: 2.1.0.6

Hi

I’m not familiar with NX Windows Client, but the easiest way to solve this is to look a CFPs Log & see what CFP is blocking in realtion to NX. Using the Log as a guide, create Network Monitor rule(s) to allow NX to function correctly. Remember to place your new NX rules above CFPs final Block ‘n’ Log rule.

So I formatted my computer again, this time not installing comodo antivirus, and it now works again…

This seems to somehow be a problem with the antivirus…so a heads up to the antivirus developers…

hope this helps people
