Numerous CPF File Submission Errors

When I review the Proactive Defense area of the COMODO Summary window and review the files waiting for my review I select them and submit them to you. I usually get an error on some or all of the file submissions. The resulting error window is: “CPFFileSubmission - Some files could not be uploaded Do you want to see the reason?” I answer “yes” and the reason is always a “421 Idle Timeout (20 seconds)”.

Why is this happening all the time?

Why does this come up even when I have requested that the file submission notice be suppressed?

Once files have been submitted I check them to make sure they are safe. If they are the result of the update process I know that BitDefender does every day, I move them to “My Own Safe Files”.

How long does it take for you to add these files to your database so I do not have to do this maintenance daily? (Or is there a way I can signify that this is a trusted process? I have tried it using your Trusted Vendor process, but BitDefender could not be added because it does not have a valid signed executable. Is there a way to add an executable that is not signed?)

Thanks for your review of my questions. I look forward to your response.

Bryan

PS: If this info is already available somewhere, please point me to that location. Thanks.

I’m also getting various errors from time to time. As far as I know it’s just down to the server being busy. There are various posts regarding submitting files. - Comodo Forum

Which version of CPF are you using?

I am using version 3 of CPF.

Is there a way to suppress/ignore/turn off the file submission error notice?

(It seems to keep retrying until it gets through successfully so the message is not really necessary.)

Thanks, Bryan
