Before the signature update, I had 177.259…
After, I still have this number…
Its happening constantly. After 4 signature updates, the number os signatures (in virus list report) just changed twice…?
Is it expected?

It may just be an update to remove a false positive detection. I also have 177259 viruses in the list.

The signature is being updated for new viruses as we get the samples. The lab is adding / recreated the signature for existing viruses in the list and hence sometimes viruses count will not be increased after updates. But the updates that you get daily improves CAV detection and reduces reported false positive.
