Not prompted when firewall rule set to 'Ask'. Version 3.8.65951.477

I recently updated my version of Comodo Firewall to version 3.8.65951.477 and I am no longer getting prompted to Allow/Deny connection when the Application rule for IE is set to ‘Ask’. I’ve reproduced this problem on two systems (Vista Ultimate 32 bit and XP Pro w SP3). When my Application Rule for IE is set to ‘Ask’ for any outbound connection, I do not get prompted. If I set it to ‘Allow’, the connection works fine of course. I did not have this problem with earlier versions of the product. I have since rolled back to an older version on my Vista box and everything is normal again (IE connection to the internet gets prompted to Allow/Deny when attempting a connection). I cannot update any other computers because of this problem. I do not want IE or any other browser to have free access to the internet. I want to be prompted so that I am made aware that when an app is trying to connect to the internet. Incidentally, I also have this same setting for Windows Media player. Again, with the new version, when the rule is set to ‘Ask’ I am no longer prompted.
I have also removed the rule and recreated it with no luck. Any help would be great.

Thanks!
