Not possible to change any settings

Today I’ve received my new Laptop and one of the first things to do was installing CIS.
Installation worked smooth, CIS started up and the tray icon is showing. However, I am not able to open the application (right click on tray icon → open). Nothing is happening, no errors either. I cannot change any options.
I can enable/disable the widged but thats it. When I switch sandbox to off, it will simply stay on.

Is that some kind of feature or whats up with that?

Not a feature, something is wrong, try a clean reinstall following Chiron’s guide Comodo Forum

Edit: Also make sure that any AV that came with the laptop is uninstalled completely and that you’ve used their removal tools after uninstall.
