Not an appropriate method of removing this threat

I am looking for advice/help on the following,

Each time I carry out a regular scan Comodo finds the following threat:
Name:Rootkit.HiddenValue@0
Location:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\CmdMapping{c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a}
When I try the remove option, I get,“Not an appropriate method of removing this threat”, so what can I do?
I am running XP pro Service pack 3 fully updated.
Nothing appears to be misbehaving to me.
I have run GMER but it has found nothing. Could this be a false positive?

Currently the rootkit scanner in CIS has many FP’s. If GMER found nothing then I’m willing to be that it’s a FP.
