I was just wondering, has anyone used software of this company like SpywareFighter and Virusfighter. It has like 20 miljoen users so it has to do something :slight_smile:

Well, Norman products are stuck in the past :frowning: They are ineffective, akward to use and simpy bad ;D

Detection database is somewhat small,
both programs you can trust, of course, their intentions are good,
but they might fail to protect you, concerning their actual abilities.

But it’s a nice company.
It’s Norman, not Norton. :THNK

Yes, I tested Norman Internet Security 7 :slight_smile: Horrible. Couldn’t even adjust to it to use it normally ;D The detection is bad , the removal is even worse :-TD This company needs to wake up :slight_smile:

20 million users is not much compared to others :slight_smile: Norman is a product from Norway, so maybe Scandinavian people use it more (they also have F-Secure)

I have nothing against Norway :slight_smile: Opera browser is from Norway and I love it. And yes - I have something against Norman - It’s ineffective. That’s all. ;D (And I don’t like that Buster crash test doll) ;D

i used Norman AV when my comp was infected by RontokBro/Brontok. symantec AV can detect but cannot remove it 88) (yes it’s symantec AV, not Norton AV).
it’s pretty good, i guess 88) since it has indonesian local support (fast local virus recognition)

who knows, i used the 1 month trial version & dump it. ;D
but the local site www.vaksin.com is still active & it’s still the best for local virus detection.and i read that norman use something called “Norman sandbox” technology, i don’t know what it means, but it sounds KEWL (:KWL)
well, better stick with free antivir or avast. (:KWL) KEWL

It means - Viruses can play in your computer like kids in a sandbox ;D
