No viable partitions found for the selected item

Hello World,

I’m using version 3.0.171317.130 (that tells me it’s the latest) and when I first sign on it tells me that my system is not backed up and offers to do so.

When I follow along and hit system backup, I get the following:

No viable partitions found for the selected item

and there doesn’t seem to be an explanation here or in the on-line manual.

Can anyone help?

Vista; single HD with 3 partitions; external USB HD with ample space.

This error is caused by an issue with auto-suggest feature in CB. Auto-suggest is not able to find a valid destination path. We will fix this in the next release.

You can set a default backup path (other than system drive) in Settings, this should fix the problem.
