No Cookies in Firefox

I am using CIS, and just recently all cookies in Firefox have stopped working.

I assumed that I probably created a rule in Defense which prevented the cookies. So I stopped Defense, opened a window of Firefox, logged into email, closed the window and re-opened. Cookie still didn’t work. I removed the Mozilla rule from my rule list, and received no pop-up when attempting to use a cookie. Yes, I have cookies enabled in Firefox.

I also re-installed Firefox, and the cookies still did not work.

Internet Explorer cookies do work OK.

Any ideas what could be causing the cookies to clear after the browser session?

Thanks

try opening firefox → tools → options → privacy tab → is “Always clear my private data when I close firefox” checked? If so, uncheck it and try again.

Hi Matt_M

I would sincerely doubt your missing cookies are related to CIS. If you continus I would suggest you consider creating a new firefox profile, if only for testing purposes.

If you are unsure about how to do this, take a look at the following:

I did check this out already.

That’s what I had begun to believe, I just wanted to make sure by posting this topic. Thanks, and I will look into other solutions.
