The bug/issue
1. What you did:
I tried update my keyboard’s “Logitech Gaming Software” from version 7.xx to 8.xx
2. What actually happened or you actually saw:
After rebooting my machine CIS did NOT started!
I tried starting it manually and it seems to work OK.
After rebooting, CIS failed to start once again.
3. What you expected to happen or see:
I was expected to see both apps running like the older version did.
4. How you tried to fix it & what happened:
I tried reinstalling CIS but still not starting automatically.
Finally I reinstalled the old Logitech Gaming Software (ver 7.x) and everything works fine.

Yes, I can make it happen again, just by installing the new version of Logitech Gaming Software (over the old)

I think it must be something with the startup or maybe a common file conflict.
Files appended. (Please zip unless screenshots).
There is no Screenshot illustrating the bug or any Crash or freeze dump file
(CIS just dont start)
Your set-up
- CIS version:5.4.189822.1355
- This is a clean install (no update)
- I didn’t import anything. This is a clean install
- No changes to the default config.
- Security level = safe mode
- Win7x64 SP1 on an AMD Phenom X6 with 8GB mem.
- Other security and utility software installed: McAfee Antivirus
- Virtual machine used: No VM !
Do you have any known incompatibility issue for “Logitech Gaming Software” and/or any fixes?
CIS Is working fine with “Logitech Gaming Software” v7 but not with v8
