Noob, newbie, we all start as a newbie in whatever we do. There is no reason to change this. If you are insulted by the name, just remember, you ARE a newbie at first. (Note - the title does not reflect personal experience/skill levels actually achieved, just the same as the title ‘Comodo’s Hero’ does not make you an actual hero - don’t let it go to your head) .
Personal note - find something more relevant/important to argue about.
i don’t think i was arguing just inquisitive. im inquisitive in all things. that’s why i do my job… and get into trouble…
what about the odd titles that people have?
how can there be anything more important to me in life than my place with my peers?

Some titles, like “Usability Study Member”, are titles given to people who have access to certain hidden boards. (BTW…some of these boards aren’t really too active.)
I have a custom title, “pillow fighting fool” given to me by ganda. I’m sure many agree with the fool part.
so mods can give them willy nilly?

You can give yourself one if you like. Click the PROFILE button at the top of the page to go to your profile. Click the FORUM PROFILE INFORMATION link in the left hand menu and then scroll down to CUSTOM TITLE.
Mine now says “Don’t sweat the petty things. Don’t pet the sweaty things.”.

You’re correct, it seems that only Mods & Admins can add/change/remove your Custom Title. Things like this are difficult to detect for us Mods due to our differing account privileges (I had to test this with my user test account to be sure). Mind you, I always wondered why you were so keen on where ganda was.

But I’m sure most people can figure out, after awhile, that custom titles aren’t editable by the regular user because most of the mods have interesting ones, and normal users don’t.
I wouldn’t say that… yours is far more interesting than most.
