I used this sandbox, I agree, she is good, but a bulk, plus too many settings for simple use! And there is no way to copy and endure links or some text from the outside of the sandbox inside and use it in the sandbox. On CIS Containment, when you turn on one checkmark in the settings, this is possible and it is convenient.

I don’t know what I can do about it or how to protect myself. The only person who can do anything is the software developer, because they’re supposed to close the vulnerabilities. Otherwise, there’s only one thing users can do: be careful in what they do.
Yesterday, my computer suddenly started acting up, exhibiting unusual behavior right from startup. I immediately interrupted the process and restored my last backup of my still-functioning PC. Everything’s working again; a malware scan was negative: no threats were found. I hope nothing hidden went undetected.
I don’t dare to delete ‘Windows Sockets Interface’ in HIPS or to deactivate HIPS although I trust cruelsister’s recommendations.

I had the same issue a month ago and I joined the Comodo forums to find a solution for this, but I found that there was no discussion on this issue. I reinstalled CIS several times because of this issue and I am so tired of it. I have given up on further experiments and am waiting for CIS 13 to come out.

This issue has been discussed. The most likely culprit is a specific setting from an imported configuration “Rate applications according to their vendor rating” being unchecked. The issue first affected version 12.3.3.8152. You can either keep that setting checked or use a version before .8152.

Hello everyone, I have a question for you, if when you search the list of suppliers, the COMODO product itself is returning as Unknown. Is this a BUG? Or is it something new?

Many problems often affect one’s own PC: installation files, configurations, communication errors, syntax errors, etc.
All Comodo files and Comodo suppliers are declared as trusted in my own configuration. Finding a solution is difficult.

I have been using COMODO IS for many years and I am satisfied with everything, there are no complaints about the work and protection of CIS. Just one question and a wish in " Comodo Internet Security Premium 12.3.4.8162 Final (2025)" - in the “proactive security” mode in (container ) it is not possible to launch any browser. Comodo performing perfectly yet again in AvLab Test Results March 2025
**Post launch higher than some due to low antivirus engine detection but that’s always been the case. Recent other independent results show low detection with the AV, lowest in that comparative but system still protected and clean. Some tests can be taken with a pinch of salt but AvLab tests it regularly and @cruelsister has regularly shown how effective even just CFW is. CFW will run well along side Microsoft Defender which came out on top in that comparative test but there’s always the option to include periodic MD scans even with CIS installed.

Yes, it’s true that there have been some issues with VPN adapters not being filtered by CFW but with Windows Firewall always running along side it in the background, it’s still effectively filtered. It might be worth doing some LOLBin hardening for Windows Firewall (There’s a great Windows Firewall Hardening tool as part of this set of tools (H_C Hardening Tools) but CFW should still block a connection in or out from unknown/untrusted files.
@DecimaTech or @cruelsister may be able to explore more about the VPN issue or search the forum for a related post, I haven’t used one myself lately.
Whether you get it is up to you but VPNs still give you secure end to end tunnel whether CFW filters it or not.
