Recently installed Comodo Firewall, and it has found a new network that I am unaware of. I don’t know where it is coming from. the subnet mask is not the same as I am using, although close. Could I be under attack?
Any help would be appreciated

More info would be similarly appreciated.
Did you happen to jot down the new network number? Would it have been something like 169.254.X.X?
If so, this is an automatically assigned address that is used when a network card can’t receive an address from a DHCP server.

I did jot it down, the ip address/mask is 169.254.59.59/255.255.0.0
All addresses in the 169.254.X.X network range are assigned internally when a system cannot obtain an address from a DHCP server. I recommend that you accept this network, if onoy to get rid of the alerts. It is not a security issue to have global rules allowing traffic within the 169.254 address space.
Cheers,
Ewen
