Suddenly I’m seeing references (on my computer) to CIS Premium where it was always just plain old CIS before. What happened? Did I somehow accidentally subscribe to a paid version and if so, how do I back out?

The free version is now called Premium, with the release of CIS 2011.
So, not to worry.
