I am totally lost ???
I am behind a D-link DSL-502T router.
There is only 1 computer connected to this router.
IPconfig lists my IP address as 10.1.1.2
I have CPF v2.3.5.62
My Network control rules are
#0 Allow - IP Out - any - ZONE: [My LAN] - 10.0.0.0/10.255.255.255
#1 Allow - IP In - ZONE: [My LAN] - 10.0.0.0/10.255.255.255 - any
#2 Allow - IP Out - any - any
#3 Block - IP In - any - any
I have set all the network rules to log while I set CPF up.
When I boot my system this entry appears in the log.
Date/Time :2006-09-18 22:00:47
Severity :Low
Reporter :Network Monitor
Description: Information (Access Granted, Protocol = IGMP)
Protocol:IGMP Outgoing
Source: 10.1.1.2
Destination: 224.0.0.22
Reason: Network Control Rule ID = 0
The destination IP lists as “IP Range Reserved by IANA.org”
I am probably missing something, but the destination IP is not within the defined range listed in rule #0
Am I doing something wrong? Do I need more rules?
