NETWORK PATH NOT FOUND [Resolved]

Using version 2.4, Windows XP Home, Dell Wireless Mini Card.

I can connect to other computers on my home network when I turn the firewall off. I cannot when the firewall is on. I can see the connections at all times in the Network Places folder.

Windows firewall is off with File & Print Sharing on.

FIXED IT MYSELF

Went into Network Control Rules, created an IP range based on the Activity logs, moved that rule above the “Block & Log” rule, and BAM!

I have to admit, even for a network noob, it aint that hard (now that I know what to look for). Especially after exporting the alert logs to HTML, which thoroughly explains what the heck happened when I tried to connect - even indicated what rule was blocking the connection.

Good job saving me from Symantic/Norton folks!
