I am trying to network together my local PC’s operating behind a DSL modem/router. I previously used Zonealarm and on each machine, I networked them together by providing an IP range. I did the same in comodo and cannot connect. The only way they connect to each other is when I disable Comodo. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Here’s your steps in CFP (you will do this on both machines, if they’re both running CFP):
Go to Security/Tasks/Add a Zone. Give it a name, and use the IP address fields to define the start/stop range for your Zone; make sure you include both computers, possibly your router (some users find they need to, others don’t; just depends on your setup), and any shared peripherals (such as printer, scanner, etc) that have their own IP address. Note: the reason I would include the router, is it likely is your DHCP server; this will assist in obtaining your IP address and internet connectivity.
Now go to Security/Tasks/Define a New Trusted Network. Select the Zone you created, from the dropdown menu. This will add two rules to Network Monitor, at the top (Rule IDs 0 & 1). The first will Allow IP Out from Any to Zone; the second will Allow IP In from Zone to Any. This allows unimpeded traffic/communication between these computers/devices.
For good measure, you might reboot after creating these, just to make sure the memory is cleared out and new rules set.
Hope this helps,
