Need help resolving frequent "interactive services detection" dialog box

Hi guys! I am having problems with CIS 5.3. I recently updated to the latest version. Hours after the update, the “interactive services dialog box” started to pop up in my desktop or even while i am surfing the net. When I try to send the bug report through this dialog box, it says that it fails to do so.

I have CIS 5.3 in default settings. I am using Compaq V3234TU 1.7Ghz and in 32x Windows Vista Home Basic. I have also attached the cmdagent.zip. I saw in one of the posts in the forum that it is needed to resolve the issue. Thanks in advance everyone.

I am sorry to hear the bad news :frowning: Could you provide us a screenshot of your d+ logs (CIS → d+ → view d+ actions.

Hi sir Valentin N! :slight_smile: I was able to make 2 screen shots. One is when the dialog box pops up in desktop and the other one is the D+ log views. It seems that the error does not show in the D+ logs. Also sending the bug report fails whenever I try to click the send button within the dialog box. I also cannot make a screenshot of that one. I will look for a way to make a screenshot within the message dialog box. Will post that one as soon as I can. I hope you guys can help. It has been very annoying lately. Thanks in advance

Add that file in the second pic CIS —> Defense+ —> Computer Security Policy —> Defense+ Rules → click on Internet Security and then edit —> Use a Constom Policy —> customize —> Protection Settings —> Access Rights —> Find Interprocess Memory Accesses and click on Modify —> Allowed Memory Applications —> add —> Running process and then find the exe file.

I hope this will solve the problem.

Hi sir Valentin N! I took a couple of photos of the dialog box. I had to use a camera phone for this since i was not able to find a software do it. The print screen doesn’t work when i try to take a screenshot of the dialog box. I also noticed that the frequency of the pop ups have diminished. I hope you can help. I tried your recommendation but it still persists.

Hi sir Valentin thanks for the reply. Apart from CIS 5.3, I am using Malwarebytes, Hitman Pro, and Superantispyware. I just use them for on demand scanning and as backup for Comodo. On top of this, I sometimes use Hotspotshield when I am in public wifi networks. Also, Windows defender is always on because i do not know how to shut it off and it seems to work well with the previous versions of CIS. As of today, I only had 1 pop up. This morning when I logged in. I hope this eventually goes away or Comodo fix this in succeeding versions.

disable windows defender and tell me if that helps :). Just call me Valentin :slight_smile: in order to disable it for good got to start → run → services.msc → Find windows defender and windows firewall → rightclick on them and choose disable.
