I have 1/2 terabyte of netwok attached storage and 1/2 terabyte of optional USB 2.0 local storage where I keep
large collections of pictures ONLY! All the programs which can save, copy, delete, or display image files on my
local drives do so instantaneously and the taskbar icon for CFP barely flickers. When any of these programs
(Windows Explorer, Windows Fax and Image Viewer, Irfanview) try to access the images on the network
storage units, it takes 3 to 6 seconds to access each image and the CFP taskbar icon stays solid red.
I’m not sure, but I think it happened after the upgrade. The only rule that I could find which might apply so
broadly involved setting my network zone. The address of the network storage is inside the defined zone.
Any suggestions where to start? Can I prevent Defense Plus from checking image files completely, somehow?
All network security policy rules are: Allow IP Out From IP Any To IP Any Where Protocol Is Any
Global rules say: Allow all outgoing and incoming requests
