My Pending Files bug in 3.0.23.364 on Vista x64 SP1

Another bug report from me. :frowning:

I have an issue with My Pending Files that I never had in previous versions. I would click “Purge” to remove all the files I have deleted from my system. However, about 10 minutes later, those files would return in My Pending Files and I need to click purge again to remove them again. This is getting annoying. Also, i would manually check files and click the “remove” button, but again, those files would return a couple minutes later. In previous additions the files I manually remove stayed removed.

And FYI, I have UAC turned off so all the programs are running as Administrator. I looked around in the usual spots and I noticed stuff in C:\ProgramData\Comodo which appears to be where the lists are, and they do seem to update. At least that is what timestamps show. I do not know what is actually going on with those files.

Let me know if there is anything else you need to fix this annoying bug.

I had the exact same problem mind you, on a Vista system nonetheless. I checked the place where pending files are stored and cleared it but whatever I did it was of NO help. Files would keep accumulating and if purged the next new file brought the purged ones back up from the dead aswell. The problem mysteriously went away just as it came after installing one of the new builds and now I always have zero pending files no matter what my D+ level is.

Til you figure out what is wrong I can only tell you a more or less useless workaround - to purge them before shutdown or restart - that way you can start fresh after the next windows session but they will STILL accumulate. You can safely simply ignore the pending files count if it doesn’t slow down your system. I had recommended an on/off switch for pending files long ago but it wasn’t implemented.
