My Mozilla Firefox bookmarks has disappeared after updating CIS today 07-05-2009. I have restored my system (Windows XP Prof. V.2002) to a previous restauration point and the problem is solved. But, How can I update CIS without lossing my bookmarks?.

I’m not sure this is related to CIS. Which version of Firefox do you have? Any notable bookmark add-on’s? Eg. Fast Dial, Foxmarks, etc.
PS Firefox 3.5 has automatic bookmarks backup (seems to run every day). It’s available from the Bookmark menu - Organize Bookmarks - Import and Backup - Backup/Restore.
Im not sure this maybe related to CIS since in 3.10 CIS has a lot more IE regestry keys protected, I would guess that FF uses some IE components.
I asked the questions I asked because I am aware of another recent instance of Firefox bookmarks disappearing following FF 3.5 recent release and prior to CIS’ 3.10 release. See here and here for more details. But, in these cases the not all the bookmarks disappeared, just those being used by a certain add-on.
First of all, thank you for your quick responses. Today I have updated the CIS again and everything is OK. I don´t know what happened last week.
