Hi there. I’m new here and I need some help.
I bought new bluetooth dongle and put it in my new PC. It connect with my cell phone (SE C510i) but can’t send any file to my PC (from my phone). On the other hand, I can send files from the PC to my phone.
Now, I can’t locate where the problem is, in my phone, in my dongle or in my PC? ???
Can you help me, this drives me crazy.
Thank you.
You need to make your local network a trusted zone.
First look up your IP address and subnet mask. In Windows go to Start → Run → cmd → enter → ipconfig → enter → now lookup your IP address and subnet mask.
Second create a zone in My Network Zones (Firewall → Network Security policy). Choose Add → A New Network Zone → fill in a name like My local network → Apply. Now select My Local Network Zone → Add → A new address → choose An IP Address Mask → fill in your local IP something like 192.168.1.x usually and your subnet mask; usually 255.255.255.0 → Apply. Now check and see the new network defined. Exit using Apply.
Now we are going to use the Stealth Ports Wizard to make your local network a trusted network:
Choose “Define a new trusted network and stealth my ports to EVERYONE else” → Next → choose “I would like to trust an existing My Network Zone” → choose your local network zone from the drop down box at the bottom → Finish.
Now check your Global Rules and see your network added.
I have exactly same problem as TS though phone is different . Defense+ and Fw logs do not show anything. Maybe CIS is not related to this problem :-\
Does the solution to make the local network with your phone a trusted network work for you or not?
Will try to disable fw and d+ completely next time i connect my phone to pc
Can you see if the Comodo Firewall driver is installed in the Properties dialogue of the phone connection in Network Connections. See attached image for reference.

My guess on any Win XP system there is no such entity like “Comodo firewall driver” under Properties dialogue of any network connection.
Comodo firewall appeared to be unrelated to problem with bluetooth. The reason why phone couldn’t connect to computer is built-in XP bluetooth user interface: phone can start file transmission only when you press “Receive file” in system tray for bluetooth icon: after that appears dialogue “Windows is waiting for file transmission from bluetooth device” or smth like that and phone successfuly finishes file transfer.
