This actually has been occurring for almost a year.
After an update is pushed to my PC for Comodo Internet Security Firewall, after reboot I will always get the “control panel” screen for Comodo (cfp.exe). After several installs, my startup.ini has about 3 manually disabled cfp.exe entries because each time I have to go in and turn it off. This is a bug where the installation fails to clean up after itself or at least check to see if the cfp.exe entry already exists in startup.ini.
If you would like, I can post my dxdiag or other log file that might be of assistance to troubleshoot.
I am using Windows XP Professional SP3, however I have noticed this issue on my Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 64-bit laptop as well.
