MSN problems for DNS: Bug or error from me ?

Hi,
Yesterday I say that my MSN messenger was generating a lot of traffic on port 443, and I wanted to shut it down, via the application monitor (FW Pro 2.4.18.184). I allowed ports 53,80,1863 to the msnmsgr.exe-program (TCP/UDP In/Out), and since than, he doesn’t want to connect, in the logging indicating that the application monitor blocked it because of port 53 (which I said to be allowed).

In the self-test of MSN, it also shows an error on DNS :frowning:

Anyone an idea what this can be ?

(it might be that the MSN doesn’t work with port 443 closed ; but that’s not important now, I’d like to know why the error is raised on port 53 by comodo)

Thanks,
Alain
