Moving a firewall rule within a group moves the group [M237]1[V6]

When using the main firewall application window, attempting to move individual rules (Move up/Down) within a group causes the entire group to move. If the group is placed in Edit mode the problem does not exist.

  1. Open Firewall Application rules
  2. select an application which has several rules as part of a group
  3. Attempt to move an individual rule up or down
  4. The entire group moves

    Only the individual rule should move

Thank you very much for your report in standard format, with all information supplied. The care you have taken is much appreciated by Comodo, and will increase the likelihood that this bug can be fixed.

Developers may or may or may not communicate with you in the forum or by PM/IM, depending on time availability and need. Because you have supplied complete information they may be able to replicate and fix the bug without doing so.

It’s not really a bug. They have changed (and removed in some important places) ability to move rules and using drag&drop. To move a rule within a group you have to open group now… So on groups tab only groups can be moved with move up/down.

Probably. I think someone has a mandate to make the interface less and less usable with every release. Just another reason not to move to version 6.

Have updated tracker to say borderline enhancement, as the functionality is still there, but less convenient.
