Uninstalled McAfee freebie that came on new HP Pavilion running latest Windows 8.1. After installing Comodo suite and rebooting the system starts windows fine but once Comodo starts up the mouse disappears. The touch screen still works for a while but eventually the system hangs and requires cutting all power to get to reboot. Tried a windows refresh and reinstalling Comodo to the same results.
Download the McAfee removal tool from here and run it after you ran the McAfee uninstaller. Then see if the problem persist or not.
