Hope this is in the right place… there’s a lot of forums here!
So, i’ve been having this odd issue where some of the text is missing in the Alert windows. I believe it started since the last update, but since my ruleset is quite mature it’s been a while since i’ve actually seen an Alert. Anyway, was playing around with Google Desktop today and got a new alert (see attachment).
As you can see all the important information is there (i think!), but something has obviously gone wrong with the text!

No other security software running.
TEXT DISAPPEARING from screen everywhere boxes,status line,windows,shortcuts,etc
I have just downloaded CSC, after downloading and running CCleaner, and ran it
I had same problem highlighted elsewhere with cleaner_validator running heavily and have stopped it
but since the running of the two registry cleaners, a week ago, I now loose all text off my screen after a time of inactivity ??? and have to stop my LT using on/off switch and restarting with same. This has happened everyday now when I haven’t closed or hibernated my system (which is XP with latest updates).
Is this a problem with comodo software… I have yet to close system with C_V above stopped but will do now. any advice would be appreciated 88)
this is follow-up from my previous comment about missing texts from screen
having stopped ‘cleaner_validator’ and disabled it - see http://whatisthisexe.com/bbs/board.php?bo_table=exe_c&wr_id=210 - I restarted LT. LT didn’t loose any texts even tho left active but unused for a long time - it even hibernated ok last night and restarted successfully this morning - something it hasn’t done for days (since downloading and running COMODO registry cleaner and having ‘c_v’ running as well)
