I just scanned my mIRC program on www.virustotal.com and these are the results it got… Not sure if it’s infected or if they are false positives?

Hey yeiazel, Thanks for the reply but… That was for BOClean because BOClean detects it as a false positive does it mean these other AV’s are for sure ???

technically Mirc’s executable is an “authorized backdoor”, on sense that if it is employed in IRC software all it’s okay.
While if it comes employed in fraudulent manner it can be exploited like malware illegitimate purposes.
Therefore it is normal that all antivirus point out it like malware or least like a danger, but if it is Mirc parts you can be sure.

It is not a false positive but a warning of potential danger, and you can safely exclude it from CAVS scanning option.
