I am getting sick of CIS thinking mIRC is a virus. It isn’t. I guess COMODO thinks it is as files can be downloaded with it. If that is the case then COMODO may as well add AIM, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, etc. as they can also receive files.
It does this because MIRC can be used, and is used, as a communications and control mechanism for bots.
If you use MIRC for valid reasons and don’t want CIS to see it as malware, then add it to your exclusions.
