[Minor] Typo in Attack Detection Settings

Under Attack detection Settings → Misc → Block Fragmented IP datagrams
it says “this option must be disabled unless necessary”.

As it is enabled and recommended by default, this doesnt make sense.

I guess it should say “This Option must NOT be disabled unless necessary”,
right ?

I noticed this since the first CFP 3 final released, but apparently no one “got it” like us. However, your explanation is straight and clear to the point (:CLP)

The first release of CFP 3 had this setting disabled, but it was never mentioned in the change log why it was switched back and forth among the versions.

Another odd typo, under FIREWALL → ADVANCED → ATTACK DETECTION SETTINGS, it has an option “Monitor other NDIS protocols than TCP/IP”.

Shouldn’t this say “Monitor NDIS protocols other than TCP/IP”??

Now Ewen, I dare say that’s just picky :P.

Joking. I agree.

I also thought these parts were awkward (since version 2) now that we’re knit picking:
Do protocol analysis → Protocol Analysis
Do packet checksum verification → Packet Checksum Verification

There’s no need to “do”; the verb is unnecessary because it’s self-explanatory. Or, to keep all 4 options consistent so that they all start with a verb, simply change them to:
Analyze Protocols
Verify Packet Checksum

Agree Soya.

While these may be little things, the little things count towards to the overall professionalism of a product and the publics perception of same.

Raynor’s typo “bug” is resolved in 3.023.364, but the rest just need time I guess ;D
