Minor Problem

I have a minor problem regarding my CFP when I am browsing through the Start Menu. When I reached COMODO menu, it took a long time for the next sub-menu containing the COMODO Prog and UNINSTALLER to show up. It doesnt happen with any other applications I have.

My system is:
Intel centrino 1.6GHz
1.25GB RAM
Windows XP SP2
ESET NOD32 Antivirus 6.0.642
CFP 3.0.20.320
Windows firewall as well as D+ are disabled

I’m no guru, but I was wondering how long it’s been since you defragmented your hard drive? I’ve had delays of that nature before when I went too long between defrags.

That’s odd. I think that is a problem with your computer but not a COMODO specific problem. Try a defrag. Or uninstall COMODO and see if the problem is fixed.

You can edit your registry string. Go to HKEY_Current_User\Control Panel\Desktop then modify the menushowdelay. Change it to 150 or 200. Any less it will be too quick.
