I have problems signing a Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 project. I get the error message “Error importing key - Object already exists”. I have already followed the article posted in the knowledge base (https://support.comodo.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=1181&nav=0,7) but to no avail.

Operating system: Windows Vista Enterprise SP1
Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 SP1
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1

Does anyone know what can be the problem?

We found a solution to the problem. The knowledge base article forgot to mention that when trying this on a Vista machine the key is not exported correctly. We did the same procedure on a Windows 2003 Server system and this created a pfx with which we can sign our code.
