Dev channel update to 81.0.396.0 is live
The stable version has been updated twice (as far as I know) since the initial release (79.0.309.65), but no announcements have been made. It is currently 79.0.309.71.
Edge Beta is currently 80.0.361.33, and Edge Canary is 81.0.402.0.
Edge stable has been updated from M79 to M80: 80.0.361.48

New optimizations boost performance in preview builds of Microsoft Edge
Starting with Microsoft Edge build 81.0.389.0 on 64-bit Windows 10, we’ve enabled new toolchain optimizations that should provide a substantial performance improvement in general browsing workloads.
