I wanted to try the auto sandbox with Metro apps but if the sandbox is enabled or set to run restricted, then any Metro app will terminate after launching with three entries in the event viewer.
Operating system: Windows 10 Pro build 1607
Settings:
CIS version 8.4.0.5165
HIPS disabled
Auto sandbox set to Run virtually, Metro Apps, Enabled
All other rules disabled for troubleshooting purposes.
When the Windows Store or the Facebook app is launched, they open and then immediately close.
Windows event viewer shows 3 errors relating to these events:
Error 9/29/2016 2:59:22 PM Microsoft-Windows-Immersive-Shell 5973 (5973) Activation of app Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App failed with error: The app didn’t start. See the Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational log for additional information.

The same errors result when the Metro apps are set to be run restricted or partially restricted as well.
