When my computer is booting, a message balloon pops up stating that “Comodo Firewall is turned off” and that my computer might be at risk. I’ve read that while booting, Comodo is protecting from inbound threats but not outbound. Is this the case.
In the Advanced → Miscellaneous menu, uncheck “Show the application window on startup”.
But since inbound connection protection is enabled on bootup, it doesn’t really matter whether outbound connections are enabled or not. Enabling outbound protection will affect system performance and is totally unnecessary.
