It seems to me that the firewall is doing what it is suppose to do: it warns me that “MusicManager” wants to modify my registry.
Here’s the problem: MusicManager was installed on my computer as a part of an MP3 player; at least I think that is when I got it. At first it seemed great. But I do not use it very often and far too frequently it is looking to update itself. Comodo notifies me. At first I selected “allow” " remember my answer" and on a few occasions I checked the box to have Comodo assess it.
I suppose I can uninstall it but I hate the thought of throwing the baby out with the bathwater. I’d like to find a way to allow it to update when I use it. That said, I am also guessting that some part of it is running in the background and that is why it’s keeps trying to update.
Any suggestions?
Mod edit: Added merged to the title, Captainsticks.
Did you allow or deny the action.

Wat this an alert by the Firewall or Defense +? What version of CIS are you using?
1st question: Yes and then I rebooted the computer to stop all of the pop-ups. I didn’t count them but my guess is that I allowed 15 or so when I thought: " THIS IS CRAZY; TOO MUCH! " so I turned it off and when it came back on the pop-ups had stopped.
2nd question: Version 5.12.256249.2599
BTW Thanks for replying!
Can you show the D+ logs of around the time Music Maker updates? I want to see if Music Maker may be runs sandboxed and at the registry keys. Can you also check if Music Maker is Unrecognised Files list or not?

I will admit that it bugs me when people who know that I may know something better than anyone else " in the room" asks me to show them every aspect of what needs to be done and IMHO needs to be done by them so them can learn how to do things on their own. That said I am wondering exactly how to fulfill your request. Is there a history log? Do I copy and past the last few dates or do i hand pick the music manager Defense+ Alerts?
If you can perhaps simply tell me step by step where to go, and what to copy it will free me up to just do it rather than figure it out on my own. I’m not a lazy person but I think I’m finally after 20 years of computing I’m starting to think that things are getting much more complicated and more difficult to understand.
Does anyone else think the same or similar things?
One more similar action/consequence that I would like to comment on and ask about.
What I would like to say about this new one that was/is part of the problem is the inability to copy and past some part of the warning so one does not need type every word in the warning. Other security programs have allowed me to copy and past some part or even all of the message for the forum members to ponder. This one for instance says Comodo Defense + Alert : white letters on a gray background. Then there is the http://RED part
Is it possible to take the feedback from users/customers and employ changes to make somethings easier and faster to show the experts what they need to see/know?
Thanks
