Comodo boasts of a VERY small footprint on the system without hogging system resources. The attached image shows otherwise. Though not a very technical person, other firewall/av used by me did not use so much of memory , I am very sure.

You are lucky on mine CPF uses 20MB but CAV 47MB of ram 
We have a new CAV that should be released very soon that has much smaller footprint.
we will keep working on reducing the mem usage.
