For the CIS 3.9 version, I chose to install the AV component even though I use Avira (I use it for on demand scanning). I noticed that CIS uses the same amount of memory with the AV compared to without the AV. Also, even if you don’t install the AV, the files are still in the Program files folder. Am I missing something about the memory usage?
Memory footprint is low for Firewall and Firewall with AV. Just nifty programming. May be the AV uses more Virtual Memory.
