MBAM better than CIS?

Hi,

CIS running fulltime on a machine, decided to run MBAM & it reported these.
Is CIS missing stuff or is MBAM being overly cautious?

Many thanks.

These are detected as PUP = Potentially Unwanted Program.
Since this summer, Malwarebytes started to trigger all PUPs and this is actually something up to the vendors to decide if yes or not they want to apply strict policy regarding PUPs. For example ESET is one of the best at detecting PUPS while many others just let them go throught.
By the way, a PUP is not considered to be a “threat” or any kind of malware, but most likely having a lot of PUPs (most of the time bundled with softwares you install) can cause damage to your system like slow down etc…I’d advise you to delete them.

Ah… P.U.P. - Got it…

Many thanks spywar - already have done
