Manually sandboxed programs do not remember some settings (V4.0.135239.828 X32)

Problem description: Some programs do not remember some settings when manually sandboxed Also, when unsandboxed, they do not remember the settings which were made when they were sandboxed.

  • Your Operating System (32 or 64 bit) and Service Pack revision: XP SP3 32 Bit (Pentium 4 CPU 3Ghz, 4Gb RAM)
  • Other Security and Utility Software Installed: See appended config report for details. Usually: Comodo - CIS, CVE, CIV, CLP, CSE, CAS, IVault; Other- Filezilla, Wallwatcher, Sony Ericsson PC software, Actual Window Manager, Routerstats, Revo, Process Explorer, Google Desktop, Process Tamer, Process Explorer, Kiwi Syslog, Idrive, Clipmate, Hotspotshield, Stuffit
  • Step by step description to reproduce the issue: Add Google chrome to ‘Programs in the sandbox’. Run it unrestricted, with standard settings inc file and registry virtualisation. Close and re-open Google Chrome. Add a link to an internet page to Chrome’s bookmark bar. Close and re-open Chrome - the link is gone! Unsandbox chrome (using ‘programs in the sandbox’~remove) and restart it - link is still missing
  • How you tried to resolve the problem: N/A
  • Upload Memory Dumps on crash if you encounter any: N/A
  • Attach screenshots to your posts to clarify the issue further: N/A
  • Virus database version: N/A
  • Any other information you think that might be useful. This is presumably because CIS does not sandbox the entire Chrome installation and chrome chooses to store some settings in Program Files? CIS settings:See appended config report for details.

No clarified that changes are written to VritualRoot, so presumably the read is not re-directed to VritualRoot for some reason. File concerned (Chrome bookmarks file) is in sensible location.
