Malware Quarantined With Only HIPS Enabled Are Still Able To Run [M1021]

No, But this is 100% my issue ( Reply #2 from owner)

When freezing starts it is just like one window frozen form start, but as you try to switch to other windows or call taskmanager everything gets frozen after some time, although you can move your mouse.

I never wait, i reboot (hard) my computer.

After uninstall cis issue disappear.

In that case let’s just concentrate on the quarantine issue. Does the first post describe the issue you have been experiencing with quarantining files correctly? If so, please create a diagnostics report and attach it to your first post.

Please do explicitly try the instructions for replication, as given in the first post, on your computer and let me know for sure whether that replicates this issue or not.

I will move this back to the main bug reporting board for processing.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks.

I told you.
It will not be possible, since I had to uninstall CIS because of stability issues.

And first post explain Quarantine issue at 100%

Sorry, I had forgotten that. Is the malware you have replicated this with dangerous? If not, please send me a PM with a download link for the sample. I can then see if I can replicate this on my system.

Thank you.

Not dangerous, just a keylogger test.

Thank you for the link. I have now been able to replicate this issue myself, and have therefore forwarded this to the devs.

Thank you very much for your report in standard format, with all information supplied. The care you have taken is much appreciated by Comodo, and will increase the likelihood that this bug can be fixed.

Developers may or may not communicate with you in the forum or by PM/IM, depending on time availability and need. Because you have supplied complete information they may be able to replicate and fix the bug without doing so.

Many thanks again.

Hi b152,

Devs have reported this issue as “Fixed” in version <8.0.332922.4281>. Please verify it.

Thank you.

The devs are no longer able to replicate this and believe that it is fixed. I will therefore move this to Resolved.

If this is still happening on your computer please respond and let me know.

Thank you.
