Hello All,
I am annoyed at Comodo for wanting to develop an income stream on unsuspecting users and I will tell you why.
Over the past couple of weeks a warning message has come on to my screen from Comodo that there is a malicious virus in my system and do I want to remove it. I have seen this type of stuff before, so I rebooted my computer and the message was gone. Then a few days later the same message appeared so I shut down my computer again and rebooted and you guessed it the message was gone amd I have not seen it for a week now. As mentioned above this has happended earlier just after the seek help from the geek ( pay service) started. I am so uncomfortabel that Comodo has programmed these things into their system hoping people will respond by using their pay the geek system. I am sure there are thousands of other users getting the same message. Why would it only be me. Of course it’s not. WAKE UP TO YOURSELVES COMODO , we are aware of yor intentions…a shrewd, intelligent but sneaky way of increasing your revenue on unsuspecting users. I challenge you to follow this through

This is first post that I’ve seen of this type… if thousands of users were getting the same message, I’m sure we would have seen more posts like this by now. But, I strongly doubt that Comodo have done anything like you have accused them of.
Any chance that you’re going to divulge a bit more information, like what this “warning message” actually is that you’ve seen before?
Maybe you actually have something malicious on your system and you’re just dismissing it? Or perhaps it is simply a false positive detection?
The “warning message” being gone isn’t surprising. It won’t pop up again until the file in question is accessed.
Could we trouble you to look into the AV scanner logs and determine what file is causing the problem, and submit it to Comodo following the instructions in this post? How to report False Positives - Please read this before submitting !
Can you post a screenshot of the AV logs? They can be found under View Antivirus Events.

Were more than happy to help pin down the problem :-TU And once we can figure out whats causing it, then pin down a solution to fix that :-La
