MAC adderess of the attacker.

People in my university want to know how to find out MAC address of the attacker.

The undergrounds of networking ;-), what do they want to do with that info then ?

Ban it.
I have only 34 hours left to find out how or they install F-Secure back on :frowning:

Wouldn’t do them much good, as you can spoof the MAC address relatively easily.

Ewen

Still don’t see the point are they gonna build rules based on MAC address ?
I this case it should be local traffic and you should be able to read it from your arp table.

“arp -a”.
