And yes, I am well aware D+ is able to generally deny initial execution just fine (that is, you can configure D+ to act as an anti-executable) and that it is compatible with LUA + DEP. How do I know this? Well, I ran that exact setup on my REAL system for several months! Then I got tired of “house-keeping” D+, and realised I was only using it as an anti-executable. And that’s when I switched on SRP instead (before this, I’d never even heard about SRP, nor did I realise my OS had it already built-in).

Those who lack access to SRP/AppLocker can use Defense+ as an anti-executable, and do so with minimal hassle. I present a method for doing so at https://forums.comodo.com/defense-sandbox-help-cis/using-comodo-internet-security-as-an-antiexecutable-t60303.0.html. Does anyone wish to test this method against malware or proof-of-concepts?
